Disappointed

I always choose SIA when I fly to Asia and whenever I can. The service is outstanding. However when I checked in at San Francisco at the beginning of my trip the attendant asked for the credit card which I used to pay for the trip. I explained that I did not have that card because it was compromised several months back and I had to cancel it. I was kept waiting at the counter for 20 minutes while she checked with different people. Finally I had to sign a form . As a Kris member and fly business class I have never ever had to experience this. Very disappointed.

Live chat not live!!

I will not be using Singapore airlines again. I have been a happy customer for over 20 years but trying to contact customer service as been a wake up call. SIA charges premier prices but offers budget service. Good bye SIA - just rubbish

Online check in

Airline is great, however the online process to check in is difficult and problematic. Worst one I’ve ever encountered.

Upgrade

I checked the upgrade to business class and it was $900. An hour later i was not able to do that online. Called Singapore Airlines and it was more than $2000. Really?

Live chat

Live chat needs improvement. Disconnected several time and had to start from scratch. Hyperlink is not clickable

Website stupid

Keeps kicking me out at payment. Tried six times w 3 different credit cards. All my credit cards are valid. Very annoying.

Widget

Singapore Airline app is easy to use. It would be nice if it also provides widget features, which show the upcoming flights as a countdown on the widget.

Fantastic airline !!

I am an American that has lived in Singapore for over 16 years now, and I fly a lot, and this is the best airline that I have ever experienced. Customer service is incredible and the airline runs very smoothly. Highly recommend !!

Never earn points

I have flown with Singapore airlines before Covid and just recently in 2024 from the United States to Singapore and have not earned 1 mile because their app never connects with the actual flight. It’s deceptive and they are not willing to help in fact after six months you can’t add anything. Because of this there are other airlines, I will be taking in the future. I was just informed that they were going to delete my account because I haven’t made any miles or purchases, which is false.

Can’t even register an account, never receive confirmation email. What a pain.

Unable to to get digital ticket even after I am checked in. Flight info in app does not include gate number which is necessary.

The entire experience, from airport to airport, is a “Class Apart”! Add to that the choice of cuisine, book the cook, all make a fantastic experience!

Rates on calendar.

Allow Economy rates and Premium rates to show simultaneously on calendar. Will be convenient to compare the prices.

I wish it would retain your details so you didn’t have to enter them every check in.

Never worked

Downloaded the app for a trip to Singapore. Got email confirmation and “activated” my account and member number. App never worked at all 🤷‍♂️. The airline is great. The app, not so much.

Poorly designed app

This is app is poor and very badly designed. Why does manage my booking go back a regular html page ?? What’s the point of an app ?? The current implementation is slow, buggy and prone to errors. In general the app is missing a lot of functionality and is not world class like SQ the airline. Pretty embarrassing. Needs a lot of improvement.

Good app though not perfect

I like the Singapore Airlines app. However, it’s not without bugs. Wanted to report a problem but couldn’t since it’s a free app and they are not accepting feedback on the app, hence this review. I used the live chat functionality right now and I just couldn’t see what I was typing. The message window does not resize so I can’t correct or see what I have typed. The message is seen once I hit the send key I’m using the latest version on a iOS platform Thank you

Avoid Singapore airlines rewards program, it’s a scam and absolutely useless. Customer service is awful

Airlines great, app subpar

Have zero problems with the airline, but the app is embarrassingly subpar. Why bother if the website is better, and the app reaches out to the website more often than not anyway? Take a look at the Delta app where the app is better than the website. Only case where this app was useful was letting me know about the carriage carousel. Come on, SIA, I know you can do better here.

Kris Flyer

It is impossible to redeem flights from my Kris Flyer Miles. It’s extremely disappointing. I have more than 500,000 miles and am unable to redeem them. Moreover, the miles have expiration date.

App on iOS logging in and out, wigging out

Sometimes the app logs me in and then out. My booked flight appears and disappears, very inconsistent and frustrating when trying to check in for flight. App performance also is slower compared to other apps.

Cannot sync with calendar

Why?

Horrendous waste of time - esp add bag and live chat.

Very clunky, especially parts that rely on website link. All kinds of gotchas re adding additional checked bags - forcing you to do it at airport for usurious blackmail prices. Chat support staff poorly trained, uninformed, powerless and slow. After over an hour with one got disconnected and couldn’t reconnect with her - next agent asked me to hold and disappeared for 40mins and never came back. Tried calling and agent incrementally better but still couldn’t resolve problem and promised call back before 7pm but now 8pm and no call back. SQ inflight staff are good but the rest of the company has withered, all blame goes to top management.

Nothing saves

I input my information ahead of time in an effort to save time and then when I come back to check in - all my information is gone and I have to re-input it. This happened on the outgoing portion of my trip too.

Can’t pick seats app freezes

I have been trying for over a week to pick my seats on the app and the app keeps freezing. I have relatives with same issue. We have open and closed app, reinstalled. Nothing fixed it. Pls fix the app so we can choose seats

My Reservations were not listed

This app failed to list four bookings that I made. It’s made me nervous and started wondering what was going on.

Outdated features compared to other airline apps

Please add “add for my calendar”. When checking in, it doesn’t make sense that even when logged in, app prompts to re-enter member number when info is on previous page.

Add trips manually

I have to add my trips manually and it does not even carryover between two versions of the app.

Login not working on app

I have changed password multiple times. It's not able to log me in the app but web browser works fine. Fix that issue asap!

App needs work

Although Singapore airline is the best airline in the world. Even coming from a Malaysian. The app is missing some key things that other flight app offer. For one, boarding pass is only available 1.5 hrs before boarding. Why??? Many other apps provides them regardless. 2nd, the lack of implementation of adding the boarding pass to Wallet is annoying. I really hope this app can be as good as the food on the plane. Thanks.

SQ SERVICES

Easy check in online, underground service good, the crews are polite and patient. Inflight meal, all is good. Seats are bigger and comfortable. Certainly we will fly SQ again.

Login not functioning

I’ve had to change my password 6 times. Works fine on web, but app locks me out.
